A nature spirit that was twisted and corrupted by others, they act out of malice and hatred for the humanity that turned them into a monster. They don’t like to keep company, and are even less inclined to discuss their past with anyone as they find it difficult to truly find trust in another. For all their anger and resentment, a deeper understanding may simply reveal a hurt, confused, and misguided pup that’s afraid to be further broken. They’re frequently pulled into Amity and Alter’s company regardless, much to their alleged chagrin.
AU: One of seven guardian spirits peaceful in nature, they were slowly corrupted by those who used their power with malicious intentions, creating a monster over time that grew to despise the world it was part of and adopting the name Nemesis. Taking various forms to trick others, they used a mysterious Enigma Crystal to collect the power to poison the world with- becoming the epicenter of a peculiar disease that rotted the soul and twisted the mind. Unbeknownst to them, the crystal refused to cater to them, and abandoned them- putting itself in Amity’s care in opposition, and later serving as Alter’s core. Nearly meeting their end to Alter, they found themselves transported to another realm- where they took advantage of the other’s amnesia and pursued their own ambitions again in the face of corruption despite being left in a weakened and smaller form. Currently, they continue to try taking back the crystal, but without the power they had before, they’re finding it quite difficult- especially with Amity’s return trying to ‘save’ them.
